I have my first ever appointment on Tuesday (12/08) at 8.45. I think its a bit late for a first appt, I´ll be 5wks4days, but they like to do it at 5,4 and again at 6wks here. I suppose they´ll take blood and compare it for the levels and see if it doubles. And on the 6wks one, (Friday 15th) they might try to hear our bean!!.

I´m still completely symptom free (so I do a strip test to check its really there!!), the only thing I´ve noticed is that I have bought a new bra, I was falling out the top of my others!!. (Of course DH thinks this is fantastic).

Wow..those are a lot of early appts! Here they generally do the first appt between 6-8 weeks, unless there are extenuating circumstances (i.e. under the care of an RE).
My first "real" appt isn't until next Monday, the 18th where I'll be about 8.5 weeks but I did go last Monday when I was 6.5 wks because of some spotting. We saw & heard the HB then

Try not to worry too much about not having many symptoms yet. For a lot of girls this doesn't kick in until 6 weeks. I thought I had a lot of symptoms just after getting my BFP but they lessened. May have been power of suggestion. There are a few girls in my DDC who still don't have symptoms and are more than 9 weeks along!
