Why are some of you taking it? What is it supposed to do to help your cycles? I am at the point I will try anything short of standing on my head - though I am almost there. Just not looking forward to the headaches I will get if I have to do that.

I took it this last cycle and it was the only thing I did differently besides giving up caffeine.
I took it because I read it can help if you had a previous m/c and that it increases the blood flow, which is good for your reproductive organs.

That was my question in my mind I keep wanting to ask.............. is it only for those women who have repeated M/C or for anyone who are TTC? I ovulate regularly.

it's used as a treatment for recurrent loss due to known or suspected clotting/blood disorders. You really shouldn't take it without a doctors supervision, although many people do.
My RE is having me take an asprin regimine next cycle b/c she suspects that overclotting and bloodflow to a baby may be an issue for me. I wasn't able to do all the tests she wanted me to do b/c they'd be thousands out of pocket, so we're doing the asprin regimine as a precaution.
it has nothing to do with ovulating, only to do with pregnancy loss- specifically recurrent loss.

I think it can also help with blood flow to the uterus, which results in a thicker healthier lining.

I would suggest talking to your Dr about taking it before you do... I know that it can affect people who have problems with high blood pressure and some other things, so just be careful!!!

I took it for the first time during my BFP cycle. That & the EPO were the only different things I tried. I'd definitely recommend checking with your dr first because many people shouldn't take it.
I'd read that it helps w/the blood flow to the uterus & makes implantation much easier. It also helps with clotting & early fetal demise.
I discontinued it once I found out I was pg as it's not something that should be taken during pregnancy.
HTH!

actually- it can be taken durring pregnancy- but you DEFINATLY need a doctors supervision then, and a real reason for taking it- such as a known blood clotting issue or disorder or recurrent miscarriages and suspected clotting issues. This article has more info: http://www.sharedjourney.com/articles/aspirin.html it has not been tested in healthy women without these medical problems, so do be careful.
I'll be on it at least my first trimester- and possibly up to 34 weeks.
