need to find doctor in CT

Hi everyone!
I have decided I had better try to find another doctor to help with my infertility issues. I just do not feel comfortable with the doctor I have now. He doesn't seem to be very thorough and there is no follow up. I've only seen him one time and then he prescribed clomid over the phone (100 mg) and didn't tell me to make any follow up appointments or anything. He did a few blood tests and that was about it.

Is there anyone in the group in CT that has a doctor that they would recommend that they trust?

What part of CT are you in? I'm in Mystic...there's a really good OB-GYN here...I haven't been refered yet but I am hoping to soon (military insurance takes forever!!!).

We are close! I live in Lisbon but work in New London (at Pfizer).

I moved here from Michigan 15 years ago and lived in Norwich for the first 10 years. I lived in Sprague (north of Norwich) until my divorce, in which I ended up buying a house in Lisbon. Who do you recommend? I saw Dr. Mayeda in New London and he also delivered my first son (13+ years ago).

I just moved here in the end of May (DH is stationed at the base in Groton). I have never been to her as of yet but I know several ladies who have been and still go to her and really like her and her office staff. Her name is Rachel Ciaccio and she's at Women's Health of Westerly LLC. Address is 23 Clara Dr. in Mystic. Phone number is (860)572-1643. Hope that helps! After my military doctor gets my blood work back she is suppose to be getting me a referal!

Hi! Sorry, just lurking and I saw this. I live in Griswold, so you're like right by me. Dr. Simpson was my OB when I was pregnant with my daughter. Do you know where Lawrence and Memorial is? His office is RIGHT on the corner. He was absolutely WONDERFUL and trust me, if you have any questions, he takes his time to answer them. If you'd prefer to stay in Norwich area, let me know and I'll ask my friend what OB she went to.
