I finished my shopping. We haven't put up our tree. Actually we aren't putting up our tree. We do have a small ceramic tree with lights in it that we are going to use. All we have to do is put it on a table and plug it in and turn it on.

We used it last year as we were getting ready to move and putting up the other "real" tree was just too much.

This year we are only using the ceramic one cause of the kittens. The 3 of them would probably knock it down and break all my ornaments. Which would be really bad since they are all special and can't be replaced.

we finished our Christmas shopping about 2 and half weeks ago!
we have put up our tree and decorated it, we have also put decorations up in our front room!
we are now just waiting for Christmas to arive so we can enjoy it, and open all our presents that are already under the tree........i hate that, when you have presents just sitting there under the tree waiting for you, and you have no clue as to what is in them......but you can't open them for another 2 weeks!........arrrrrrrrrrrr the suspence is killing me!.............
i hade never got soooooooooo many xmas prezzies before in my entire life, untill i met my husbond and all of his LOVELY family!
so now for the last 4 years i have recieved LOADS of xmas prezzies, and i never know where to start when opening them......i only used to get about 2 or 3 SMALL prezzies when i lived at my mother's!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

(AND BEST OF ALL.......ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON 6TH JANUARY, SO EVEN MORE PREZZIES.........YAY!!!!)

(oh poo!.........i just read this and realised that i sound REALLY selfish!, i guess its cos i'm just so excited!)

Lyn x

HA! I'm the complete opposite of you, Sandy. When I thought, "Christmas is coming," I went straight for our tree permit. We've had ours up for a while, all decorated. We haven't exactly finished the rest of the Christmas decorating, but that's ok. Most of our stuff is out, just not arranged or anything.

Shopping, on the other hand. UGH! I have finished with the 2 people whose names we drew. I have NOT finished for all the kids. I have lots of little stuff here and there for them, but nothing that's their "gift" yet. We're also doing gift bags for everyone and decided not to include one thing we were going to. Now, I have to come up with something else to make to include!!! Candy, nuts, pretzels (all covered and decorated), flying pig ornaments we thought were too funny to pass up, and...? DH and I aren't going to buy for each other this year, I don't think. Instead, we're going on a trip together... I still have to buy for my sister and her BF, too. SOOOOOO much shopping to do and I'm not a good shopper!

I just started my shopping on Friday and I still need to finish it. Haven't really been in the Christmas mood. No tree this year.
