What I should expect with my first cycle of Clomid! Please? I looked it up on webmd and it has me worried. Please give me some success stories too! Please?

If AF comes when I expect her (mid to late next week) I might be doing clomid on my birthday - how exciting huh?

I did Clomid for 3 cycles....I really honestly didnt have any side effects other than being tired and having some slight hot flashes when I was on 150mg. Sadly, I cant give you a success story...Clomid didnt help me at all...I have a problem with egg quality and development and the Clomid just wasnt enough to do anything for me...hence why i am on to injectables....but I do know some ladies have gotten their BFPs on ther 2 or 3 round of clomid...you could maybe check the Grad section....Good Luck! Keep us updated...and if you have any other questions let me know!

It's almost impossible to tell you what to expect on clomid. Everyone's experience seems to differ. I'm on my 4th and final round of 50 mg. It's made me O earlier and raised my progesterone, but I think it's also thinned my uterine lining as each AF has been lighter than the one before. I'm hoping this round works, but I'm not expecting it too because I'm almost positive my lining is too thin.

I've had very few side effects of clomid. The first round, I had some insomnia, but haven't had any since. I also got a headache with my first pill of each round, but unlike other women's headaches, mine went away after the first day. Some women have headaches the whole time. I also didn't have hot flashes. I do get very bloated from the Clomid before I O and then it builds up and gets worse before AF. Once AF is here, it goes down a bit, but hasn't completely gone away any cycle.

I know plenty of people who've had success with Clomid. I hope you're one of them. I think the stats show that it's more likely to get prego on your second successful round of clomid than on the first. By successful, I mean when you find the right dosage that causes you to O within 5-9 days of the last pill.

Good luck.
