Hi ladies... I haven't been on much this month due to my husband's strong advice about giving myself a break. Honestly I've been so busy I haven' had much time, but the distraction has been nice- I started a new job 2 weeks ago working for his company and am loving it.

Anyway, I am due for AF sometime in the next 2-3 days and feel like she is coming, so much that I am not even going to test this month. I took progesterone and clomid on my doctor's advisement. Well I called his office and left him a message to find out if he wanted me to continue the treatment again next month or come back in, and they called back adn said he's referring me to the fertility clinic here in OKC and one of the two doctors I hear about all the time who is great dealing with fertility issues. So I guess he's finished trying to figure it out and thinks I need to move on to the next level. of course DH's first question is how much is it gonna cost since I don't think our insurance covers anything with infertility. I need to call and verify, but that is the way it is with most insurances we've been on. So I figured I would go ahead and get another month of clomid and start it in the meantime.. but it looks like I'm moving on. I have mixed feelings about taking the next step and DH is still all about letting it happen "naturally", but I feel like I don't want to wait another 6 months of trying on our own before we take action.

So wish me luck! I don't know if they called today to make an appointment or not. I will keep you all posted!

Love you all!!!

I've missed seeing you around here Amber! I'm sorry you feel like this isn't your month, but I think it's going to be a good ting that you can get in to see a fertility specialist and maybe get the ball rolling on getting you that BFP. I used to get angry at the thought of having to possible have some help to get pregnant (we haven't crossed that bridge yet), but the way I figure, our baby will our baby- no matter how it's conceived (though naturally would be ideal) and we'll love it just the same! Good luck and I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for that BFP!

I know of a doctor in OKC - her name is Dr. Mary Martin. She is REALLY good. If you can't afford the fertility clinic - maybe you can try her!

I just wanted to wish you luck at the fertility clinic! At least you have a plan on what the next step will be. KUP! I hope this is your cycle and you don't even have to go to the clinic!

Amber!! I have missed you so much around here! I hope you are feeling better about TTC. I will say that seeing an RE is the best thing I have done for myself while TTC. I have become alot less stressed, more educated, and am getting help with my fertility issues from people who have dedicated their lives to doing so. I know that sounds cheezy, but it is the honest truth and is honestly how I feel. Keep us updated about how things goes! I am sure you will have your BFP before you know it!!

Thanks everyone.

Christina, I will check into that doc. Thanks for the tip!

Mel, the house is moving along quickly. They are almost finished bricking/rocking and did the drywall this week. We're hoping to be in it around the beginning of November! So exciting!!

My fertility clinic bills everything they can as "menstural irregularities", so that my insurance will cover it at a higher rate. They've been able to bill nearly everything as that- I haven't had to pay for any b/w, ultrasounds and my office visits are only 25 copay. The only expensive things have been the saline sonogram, endo biopsy and surgery, and those still have been very good- from 125-250$.

I hope your clinic is creative with billing too! Good luck!!!!

Amber I hope you get some great help at the fertility clinic. (And that it isn't too expensive.) You'll get it girl, and I hope that it happens VERY soon.

Your Dh sounds like mine about wanting to do things naturally.

I hope this next step brings you answers. I also wanted things to happen "naturally" but after almost one year of TTC I don't think that is the direction DH and I are headed in. Just remember...seeing a RE does not mean you have to do EVERYTHING that he/she recommends. Talk it over with DH and see what you both feel comfortable with.
