I was browsing Amazon tonight and I wanted to check out some books on TTC and pregnancy. I wondered which ones were good and which weren't! I figured I'd go right to a great source- My JM girls!!!
Do you have any recommendations???
Any books you wouldn't recommend???
Where did you get the books?

I decided when we started TTC that I was going to read one and only book because I didn't want to overload myself with conflicting information. So I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility...I'm sure you've heard of it or even read it already. It's a pretty polular book. It's the only one I've read so it's the only one I suggest. That's why I do that chart instead of ff. I got it at Barnes and Noble. Good luck and I'd love to hear other suggestions though.

Thanks Gwen! I've definitely heard of that one! I'm definitely thinking of ordering it! I'm gonna try to make it an order of a couple of books, So I'll see what other people have recommended too! I can't wait to get some things to read! I figure 13 cycles of trying, I might as well start reading something that could be helpful! Apparently I need all the help I can get! LMBO!

I don't really have any for TTC. I have gotten a couple from the library - I can't remember what they were called though.

I also read Taking Charge of your Fertility. Then I read The Fertility Diet and now I'm reading The Infertility Cure, which is a book all about eastern medicine and fertility. By far, I think the Infertility Cure book is the best. I'm only about 60 pages in, but it's given me so much information that makes sense. I would highly recommend that book if you're interested in eastern medicine. So far, the book has been about how your body works. I think later chapters go into what types of foods and exercises you should do depending on your issues. I also read Inconceivable last weekend. It was interesting, but not packed full of information. I found it worth the read since it was so short, but I wouldn't buy it.
I've checked all my books out of the library so far, but I think I may buy TIC.

Cris~you may want to read through a few chapters in the TCOYF book. You may find that it's a little basic. I read it first thing when I started the TTC process which helped a ton, but if you already know the stuff then it would be pointless. I just really liked her charting method so that's what I use. It just makes sense to me. Just my two cents.
Celry~I just might have to check out that Infertility Cure book. It sounds really interesting and right up my alley! Thanks for the suggestions!

Getting Pregnant- it's awesome! I totally sugguest it, for people doing ttc naturally or with medical assistance or anything. It's so full of very up to date research.

I've also read a ton of wonderful books on M/c or recurrent loss, there are some great ones out there on that topic too.

Thanks Gwen, I'm glad you thought of that, cause I certainly didn't! If it's already info that I know, I'll probably just skip over it! I'll head to the library first to check that one out!
Cel- that book sounds really really interesting!!! I'm gonna have to check that out! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks Cheryl! I'm going to go check out that book now!
