What was your favorite part of this Summer?

B) Since Summer is winding down as Labor day approaches, I want to know what your favorite part of this past summer has been? Did you go on a vacation? Did you hang out at the beach? Did you host some BBQ's? Did you just get some extra days off from work?!?!? What made this summer fun for you?!?!? B)

Ahh, thanks for doing this Cris! I have been so busy with the first week of school!

Anyways, I think playing softball and visiting family is what made this summer so special and so much fun! It was awesome! I am so sad its almost over, but at the same time excited because next summer I will be 100% done with school and will starting my real career and will hopefully be expecting a lil bundle of joy in June! haha

No problem Alicia! I figured you were busy with your first week back to school!

My favorite part of summer was all the family barbecue's we went to. I love spending time with our families and what better way than a bbq? Also, we had some friends come to town and we got to do all the fun tourist-y things that we never do! It was totally fun!

ETA: Having Toni come to Lake George for a weekend to visit me!!! It was so much fun! I can't believe I forgot to put that on here!!!

We haven't gone on our vacation yet - we are leaving the 10th for 5 days of relaxation in the country. We purposefully waited till school started back up so we wouldn't have to fight the crowds wherever we went. That is the plus of having a toddler and no school aged kids. We will take advantage of that as long as we can.

I guess my favorite thing of this summer was watching AJ enjoy all of the things he couldn't enjoy last year because he was to small/not walking yet. He loved the splash pads, Palm Beach (amusement water park), pool parties, fun with friend, BBQ's with friends and family, etc.

I loved my summer. We started it with our trip to Europe. We visited a ton of friends and had lots of people over here. We even had people over during our floor remodeling. It was a mess, but I couldn't imagine not having people over for months. We bought a new patio set, so spent a ton of time outside. I enjoyed swimming outside with a group of my friends on Tuesday nights. I'm excited to close out my summer with my trip to Boston to meet my nephew and spend time with my sister, BIL and niece.

So sad summer's just about over. But I'd say the best part about this summer for me was the fact that we moved into our dream home AND to top it off the subdivison has a pool!!!! Super excited about that! We didn't do any vacations, but we are going to Mexico on Sept 13 for 5 days and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! It sounds like you guys had some busy summers and a lot of you will have busy Falls too! I'm soooo stowing away in someone's luggage when they go on vacation!!!

Christina- Reading your Postabout AJ makes me so excited for when I (finally) have a baby and will get to see the world and experiences through their eyes! What an amazing feeling I bet that is!

I didnt do anything particularly fun this summer- I just worked and took time off before school starts all over for me AGAIN

Going to Lake George!!!! And going to Darien Lake with the kids!!! Cameron was a riot on those rollercoasters!

I love Darien Lake, its so much fun!! I worked not far from there when I spent some time working on summer camp a few years back.

I have to say my favourite part of the summer was when I got married on the 26th July. We had an amazing day and then went on a totally relaxing honeymoon to the Cape Verde Islands.

Unfortunatly I got back to work on Monday, we have 2 days of staff training then the kids are back in on Wednesday. After that its 7 weeks until the next school holiday!

Darien is about a half hour from me, but 5 mins from my parent's campground. It's actuallly season pass holder bring a friend weekend so I might go today or tomorrow.... DH hasn't used his season pass yet.
