Well I tested this morning...BFN. I never thought it would take this long. It's heartbreaking to think about. We have 7-8 months before DH leaves for the 6 month deployment and out of that he'll possibly be home for about 3 ovulations if we're lucky. Since we haven't had any luck yet though I'm not counting on it...

Oh man, I'm so sorry Colleen. I know how frustrating it can be hitting that 1 year mark. I personally always figured it would take us some time, but never a year! Try to stay positive... I'm hoping that you get that BFP really soon (like next cycle soon) so that you and your DH can have some time to enjoy it together. We're all here for you!!!

I am so sorry. I hope you get your BFP very soon! Have you seen the doctor about it?

Yes, I went on the 18th and they did bloodwork to check my thyroid and check for anemia but that is all my doctor would request at the time. She told me if I got my period then I could go in on CD 3 and do more bloodwork then...so now I'm just waiting.

At least now you're getting help. I hope your CD3 B/W gives you some answers.

You'll be in my prayers!

I remember when I hit the one year mark. I thought for sure that I was PG, I got an evap on a $ store test (but I didn't know about evaps then) and I could just FEEL it. I went to the Dr and had bloodwork done just for them to tell me, no I'm sorry you're not.... keep trying. Never mind that we had already been TTC for a year. They didn't even offer to do bloodwork or anything.... I was devastated. I was so distraught I ended up leaving work early telling them that I had a migraine. I cried all the way home and most of the night. I just couldn't hold it in any longer.
I'm so sorry that you too have hit the one year mark. It sucks. I would not wish this kind of heartbreak on anyone. I really really hope that you get your BFP soon.
