Seriously! It doesn't bother me that I am 30. Age is just a number But I woke up this morning so depressed!

I have been in tears much of today and I just I dunno.... am not happy.

The kids are on a 4 day weekend, it should be a happy time, time to do something fun. Here I sit in my room.

I just turned the big 3-0 in May. Although turning 30 didn't bother me that much, the fact that I wasn't pregnant yet after my m/c hurt way worse.

Maybe just the stress of everything you are going through is making today seem so bad.

I hope you feel better soon and are able to enjoy the remainder of the long weekend with your kids!

Hi there - I am new here and had to reply to this post. I am turning the big 3-0 on Thursday (9/4) - so I am in the same exact boat. I have been having a hard time coping with this birthday even though I know it's just a number. It doesn't help that we've been TTC #1 for 8 months now, and I guess being naive when we started out, I just assumed I would be pregnant by now.

Just 1 week ago I had my very first BFP - followed quickly by a BFN 2 days later. Blood tests confirmed I experienced a chemical pregnancy - which was absolutely devastating. So it has been a hard week regardless, and now that my bday is quickly approaching it is just a reminder of how I am still not pregnant - or, actually, how I was (for a wonderful 3 days), but then I lost it.

I hope you were still able to have a nice birthday and enjoy the long weekend... I am going to do my best to focus on the other blessings in my life and believe in my heart that this coming year is the year when my luck will change and the tide will turn... and hopefully it will for you too.
