so i'm almost positive that i am not pregnant and since my cycles are so long i predict that with my luck and all i will have my period right about the time ashton and i are to drive to va. that will be a 3 day trip with ashton. i recall my last period i had to sit on a blanket and if i didnt change my tampon every 45 minutes i would leak. it was that bad. if i was just driving out with ashton i could manage it but my dad is driving with us and that would be really awkward. my family doesnt talk about personal stuff like that and i dont even want him to know i get a period let alone when it is. too weird. so i was thinking about using insteadcups. they seem to hold alot and they are for 12 hour use so i figure i could get 6 hours in. has anyone ever used those for af? i also am getting some diaper pads just in case i leak. i'm hoping i get my period at least a few days before we leave so i can figure out how to use them. hopefully with instead cups i will be able to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation. just wondered if anyone used these and your thoughts on them.

also i was thinking that they might be good after sex to keep the spermies up there.

I have a friend who ues those and really likes them. She hasn't tried it for sperm though. Can't hurt to try it right? Good luck on keeping your womanhood a secret from your dad...not to worry, I won't tell!

Oh, my family is the same way!!! And for my periods, I have to stay near bathrooms and such because I bleed out of super tampons every few minutes. (I know, this can't be healthy.) I've never used the insteadcups. I hope that they work for you, though. What an uncomfortable drive! Here's hoping that AF shows early or not at all!!! (I can't still hope for you, can't I?)

lol! i'm hoping it at least waites until feb cause then my dad will be gone and i dont really care if brad knows. lol. the reason not now is because brad drove the car to virginia so if i need to go anywhere i would have to call my mom or his mom or my sister in law and that would be so awkward to ask them to take me to walmart so i can buy some tampons. i really hope they work

I have a friend that swears by them for af. I have never heard about them keeping the sperm in though..
