Sheesh...... I used to be so normal when it came to charting other than the LONG cycles. But I could tell a PG chart from anything. I have never had a very short LP.... till now it looks like.

I am so confused. What causes your LPs to be shorter??

My temps dropped WAY down this morning?? I may have had my mouth open when I was sleeping, but I don't think it would cause THAT much of a temp drop??

OY!

I guess AF should be here with in the next day or 2.

Oh man! I'm sorry! I am not very good at all about reading charts or anything, so I can't be much help there.

Have you talked with your Dr about your LP? I know you had an appointment a few weeks ago, but I can't remember if you discussed it with the Dr... (sorry I can be forgetful sometimes). I would definitely give the Dr a call if you haven't already.

If I've heard correctly, a short LP is fairly easy to correct, so try no to worry too much. There's some things that you can do over the counter that may help!

Hang in there!!!

Usually a short LP is a progesterone problem. But your temp drop today could be from implantation. You can implant anywhere between 5-10 dpo. And you are still above your coverline. If AF does show, I would ask about the short LP with your doctor. Good Luck!

Nope, never had an LP issue. They are usually like 14 days, last cycle was 13 and now this one... who knows... kinda looks like it could be a 9 or 10 day one???

And still no answer from my appointment. I have called 2 times. and yesterday they made it seem as though the doc would call me sometime yesterday, but nothin.

How frustrating that they won't give you a call back! I hope you can get in touch with them soon!
I'm hoping that it's just an implantation thing like Christina said... It could totally be!!! I hope it is!!!

Well I am not 100% sure since I seem to have a normal LP, but I am pretty sure that it is Progesterone imbalances that cause short LPs. I hope you get good answers soon. Good Luck!! Keep us posted!

jenn, i have an LP problem and the clomid is supposed to help that. i know you were taking clomid. BUT just because you have one short cycle doesn't mean you have an LP defect. My OB made me chart and it had to be consistantly 10 days or under. I had three cycles in a row that were short so she told me the clomid would help with that. I also use progesterone cream after Oing just to make sure my progesterone isn't causing problems. i've also been told that vitamin b6 can add days to your LP if it isn't way too short. 100mg per day and no more. KUP I hope it's implantation dip!! good luck!
