way up! But I'm a doula myself, so I may be slightly biased!

Thumbs way up for me... I read that it leads to shorter labor and fewer medical interventions (c-sections).

Insurance may not cover it, but I would be willing to cover the $300 the Doulas in my area charge.... they're even willing to bill the insurance company to see if they would even partially cover it.

This is the first time I've heard of doulas, but I like the idea after reading the article. I tend to get stressed very easily so anything to help DH keep me calm I'm sure would be a good investment

Of course I am a Birth Doula so it makes perfect sense to me LOL

I am the creater/director for the High Risk Teen Doula program I run in our cummunity plus as a Volunteer ministry from my heart I take on clients before,dureing and after a m/c, fetal demise and stillbirth deliveries and PP.
