Attachment parenting is a method of parenting that involves things like extended nursing, co-sleeping, a no spank policy, not allowing your child to "cry it out" etc.

Basically its parenting that takes your cues from your child and his/her needs. If my daughter wanted to be held all the time we would carry her in a sling or in the backpack carrier. I nursed on demand and if she wanted to sleep in the bed with us we allowed her too (she doesnt very often anymore now that she is 5 and I miss it soooo much!) We spend almost all of our time with our girls (well we homeschool so its hard not too) and really believe that we should be our childrens greatest influence.

Oh and btw - did you know that we are cycle buddies? You are on a 28 day cycle and I am on a 30 but we are scheduled to test on the same day

How many kids do you want : DH wanted none...then desperately wanted at least one. Now, he wants me to have kids for as long as I can, as many as I can! For now, we'll be VERY happy with one!
Anything you want to tell us : I've had a weird day. I've cleaned up dog vomit, had gummy bears and milk for 2 of my meals today, a banana and 2 ribs for snacks, wandered around the grocery store for an hour before I left because I forgot what I went for and remembered as soon as I got home, fell asleep while I was peeing, reset a water heater, and fished a stuffed duck from a heating vent for the dog. She's not my dog, but I wish I could steal her.

I've been pregnant 5 times my 1st was my son who passed away 15 years ago. My 2nd pregnancy was an ectopic. Then the 3 girls. The last one is about 6 years younger than my middle one. So I really would like another boy....I miss that. We have 5 months till our time is up for a last one. I've been charting off and on for 14 years. Dust for all!!
