Hey Sandy- I was wondering if you were charting before you went on clomid. If you were, were you ovulating regularly? I am asking because I ovulate fine (according to temping) but the nurse made it seem as though clomid would be the first step whether one is ovulating or not. If you already ovulate, does it help you to ovulate more than once in your cycle? Thanks for any info!

Dawn that is a great question. I thought that I was ovulating every month. I went in to the Dr when I had my M/C and my prog was at 1. My Dr wanted me to come back in for a cycle 21 check up. So I went back 2 months after my M/C and I was told that my prog was only 7.4 and it needed to be over 10 to have ovulated. I had been charting at this time for several months so I had taken my charts in with me. He decided to put me on clomid to see what happend. I went back in for another CD 21 check up that month and my prog came back at 34.9 I was very excited because that month I KNEW when I had ovulated because I felt it and for the first time in a long time I had EWCM. I had a appt to go back a week later for Blood work or Clomid and when he did the prog it came back 43.2 and my HCG was 84.

Here is my Chart

My Insurance did not cover Clomid but it was only 25.99 for the month ( 5 pills ) I took them Cd 5-9. I would do it in again in a heartbeat!!!!!! if you look at my chart it looks like I was ovulating but my DR said that I was not releasing a good (mature)egg. Please ask me anything that you want to know.

That's good to know--I was under the impression that if the temps showed the distinctive rise, everything was working fine. But I rarely if ever have ewcm. Now I am more excited about seeing the doctor. Thanks Sandy!

No problem Dawn I really thought that I was ovulating because I would have cramps but the blood work tells all. When I took the Clomid I had to go in on CD 22 for blood work to check my Prog so you may have to go threw that but I would not trade it for anything. It really changed my life the FIRST month!!! And we did NOT time it well.
