thumbs up. I co-slept and I think it's so much better for a babies emotional development and for bonding, not to mention breastfeeding. Most parents who hurt a baby that was in bed with them are on someting (drug- even tylonol, or alcohol, or are overtired, or the baby falls off- or the baby gets under a blanket or pillow) ways to safely cosleep include not using a comforter or sheet ( dress warmly enough) and make sure you aren't dead tired.
We'll co-sleep till the baby/child wants their own bed.
