How will you celebrate the new year this year? Do you and your family or friends have any traditions? Plan on starting anything new?

We used to watch the ball drop, but since we live in the Mountain Time Zone, which seems to have no major coverage, we may not get to! We haven't really had any traditions for the past couple of years, and I don't think that we're starting any, but I DO think that we'll end up having everyone over. I'm sure I'll get stuck cooking. I hate to sound so blah about it, but it's just how it goes. Everyone gets assigned something for a potluck, but no one brings their dish! Maybe DH and I will try to get out of it...I'm too tired and I'm sure he will be, too. Maybe he and I can muster the energy to "celebrate" on our own...

We are going to stay home with the girls and watch tv. We're going to have pizza and munchies. DH doesn't have to work that day for a change so it'll be nice.

We are going to visit dh's family and finish up the Christmas festivities there. No drinking for me. I will be in the 2ww. Then dh has to go back to base because his leave is up.
