First of all...I miss the TTC 6 months + board! I like the smaller atmosphere- threads were easier to follow, etc and I really felt like I knew most of the people there! SO I'm happy to be welcome to post here again!
After TTC for 10 months, including a chemical pregnancy on the 3rd month. we finally got a positive last month. I had made some changes to my diet (I think the biggest of which was cutting out caffiene and upping my water intake) and got a ton more EWCM that month. My chart showed a dip at 7DPO, then I got a BFP at 10DPO. I took about 6 pregnancy tests that day- all FRER- they were negative at 6am, 10am, 12pm, and then a very obvious positive at about 3pm. Go figure! Digital said negative that morning, then positive that evening. (Yes, I am POAS addict, but I had a strong suspicion I was preggo so I just kept taking them that day).
I had a TON of bad cramps from about 4 weeks until 7 weeks, and had some bright red bleeding at 6 weeks. I went to the ER(it was a Sunday and my Dr was closed) and they did an ultrasound and the baby was measuring right on, my hCG was at 127,000 and they saw a heartbeat. The light bleeding continued for about a day total, and has been gone since. The cramps have also progressively gotten better as morning sickness/sensitivity to smell has progressively gotten worse.
I have my first Dr's appointment tommorrow and I'm hoping they will do another ultrasound, at which point I'll feel more comfortable telling people (we still haven't even told our families- but that's more because we think it's fun to have a little secret than not wanting them to know). I am really super nervous about my appointment tommorrow- I'm scared to get bad news. Wish me luck!
