We were going to go on a vacation last week, but when Ike turned more towards Galveston, that put our vacation on hold and we had to evacuate instead. As my siggy still shows, we came back on the 16th. We have minimal damage to the house and fence, but our trees lost a lot of limbs. We just got our power back today around 6:30pm. I will update with pictures later.

I had some health issues that I had posted about before going MIA - and ended up at the ER early Friday morning. I am okay now, but we missed this month all together.

oh hun, i'm so sorry. it's good that you have minimal damage, but not so good that your lives have been disrupted!!! those hurricanes are nasty!!! i hope you heal mentally and physically soon. maybe take that vacation now if possible???? sounds like you could use it. HUGS!!!!!!

Oh wow! I'm so glad that your house wasn't damaged badly and that you were all safe! I'm sorry you missed your vacation and that your out for this cycle, but hopefully the next cycle will be your's!!!
