God its about time we got some good news!. If ya'll remember my DH had a SA a few weeks back and the results came back as horrible. Like they were so low that they had to let it sit and magnify it 300x to see anything. So yeah, basically almost sterile.
WELL. DH went and got his second SA to verify the firsts results last week and we finally got the new numbers today.
His count is
48 MILLION

. WOW. He went from d*mn near sterile to a really great count! Needless to say we're completely relieved.
BUT.... It's not all good news. His morphology is pretty low. It's at
15% and they want it at least
30%. Also his motility was
really low. I forgot the exact number, but they weren't good. We're getting a copy of the results on Monday, so I'll know more then.
He has an urologist appointment on Oct 14th. We're trying to move it up though because he's leaving in November for 3 months. Hopefully they'll let us.
O yeah. I forgot to tell ya'll. I had my first RE appointment yesterday. It was just the basic first appointment where they took our complete history, talked about my cycles and drew some blood. They're going to go over that bloodwork and the bloodwork and U/S that I already had done (at my other docs) and go from there. They basically want to monitor my hormone levels and ovaries (via U/S) and see if I'm actually ovulating. Once we figure that out I'll be put on fertility meds. I'm not really happy with how slow they're moving, but I understand that certain procedures have to be done, esp since it's an actual infertility clinic and not just am OB/GYN.
What he did differently: He's been taking Vitamin E, Maca Root, Multivitamins, and drinking lots of OJ. He also works out every day.
We're going to go get him
these vitamins tomorrow. They have basically everything in them to help count/motility/morphology.
