The low temps after ovulation are really stressing me out - I am 6 DPO and they are still right near the cover line.

I am afraid that I dont have a chance this month and I am in tears over it. I realize that they have alot of room to increase but has anyone else had a chart like this and then had the temps rise later on?

I temp every AM at around 6:00 - if I temp then my reading is as you see on the chart - around 36.4 - 36.5

If I sleep another three consecutive hours and temp again my temps can be as high as 36.7 - 36.8 degrees which is a drastic jump. I cant even compare this chart to last months because my wake time last month was 8:00 am - a two hour time difference.

HELP!

Have you been to the Dr. Your temp is up but it is not up that much. I would take they charts and go to the Dr and see what he thinks. I was doing the same thing and I was ovulating but not a mature enough egg to get me pregnant. But I also never had EWCM.

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but when I got preggers in July, my temps stayed flat at the cover line for 5-6 days after FF said I'd O'd before they started rising. It's something called a "slow rise".

It could be a slow rise or it could be a progesterone issue. I'd take the charts to your doctor and go over them with him/her.

YES! That does help me because normally I have never had a problem concieving and during the last 3 years of ttc we havent been doing things more than 2-3 times a month and never at the right time. We just werent ready I suppose.

This month I bd'd on CD 13,15 and 16 and ovulated on CD 16 - we have ewcm throughout the entire time so I am really hopeful for this month. I suppose I am praying that I am as able to concieve as I ever was but that we were not putting forth enough effort or at the right times which leads to the 3 years of TTC kwim?

I dont believe that its a progesterone issue and here's why:

1) last month my temps were well above the cover line
2) If I take my temps at anytime throughout the day or even if I sleep 3 more hours its reading anywhere from 36.7 - 37.20 degrees which is as high as last months temps (I changed from 8 am last month to 6 am this month)

However, if it doesnt rise during this month I will definitly take my chart in and have it looked at.

AH, I'm a slow-riser most months! I also have sort of erratic temps right before I O that cause the CL to be higher than it might. Because of my slow-rising, I was afraid of a progesterone issue, but it's fine. As long as you rise sufficiently after O and before AF, you should be OK. The jump (good jump, by the way) after O looks great, and most of the other temps look good, too. Your CL *could* just be higher because of the couple of high temps right before Oing. Make sense? The CL really doesn't mean too much--as long as you can see a pretty clear shift in your temps, which I think you have.

Still, I understand the worry and if you continue to worry about it, perhaps talking to your doc over your charts isn't a bad idea.

Good luck and --I think your chart looks just fine, though!
