Do you all remember the baby I told you about and asked for thoughts and prayers for? For the newbies, I will explain anyways....

A friend of mine's brother and SIL were happily expecting twins that were due this October (just a couple weeks away). They were born in July - 16 weeks early. One of the twins passed away the next day - they weren't able to stabilize him. The other twin is doing really well for when he was born. He is still hooked up to a ventilator, but he was just moved to an open crib the other day. That means that he can regulate his own body temperature. He was actually getting too warm in the isolette. He was 1lb 7oz at birth and he is now almost 4 lbs.

I just thought I would post an update - I hadn't told you all anything about him in so long. Please keep up the thoughts and prayers - they are working!

that must be so hard, to lose one and be so sad, and fight for the other and be so scared and happy that one is doing well, all at the same time!!! t&p are with them!!!

Oh wow! I'm sad that they lost a baby, but it's wonderful how the other is doing so well! I can't imagine ever going through that! I'll be sure to say some prayers for them so the baby continues to do well!

How sad to lose a son, the second little fella is going to be a fighter. My thoughts are with the family, I hope he continues to improve in leaps and bounds!
