Well I just got back my blood work that my RE had done. All 9 vials worth. lol.
Everything was completely normal, my liver, blood sugar, still immune to Rubella, testosterone, cortisol, prolactin, T4, etc. BUT my TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is elevated. The normal range is 0.3 to 3.0, mine was 5.16. So I've officially been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Apparently I have experienced no symptoms because my T4 is normal. I now have to take Synthroid.
It completely explains why my cycles are so irregular. So I'm glad that a reason has been found.
Also, I have to go into my RE tomorrow to see where I'm at in my cycle, they're concerned that I haven't gotten my period since August 20th.

I bet it feels great to finally get some answers! I get my blood work back Friday. I do remember him mentioning the hypothyroid thing - he was rattling off differently things that could be causing me to not get pregnant.
Have you done HSG or had bloodwork done previously? I think he is testing for this for me, but I dont know what all the blood work was looking for! I dont want him to miss something!! DH is starting to second guess having a baby with the economy and how the world seems to be going down the pot. He's worried about bring a baby into the world at all!! We need to get pregnant soon so that he can see the joy it can bring too!

We've been working with a RE since Sept and saw my OB-GYN before that (since July). I've had multiple bloodwork and ultrasounds. I haven't gotten my period since seeing my RE so we haven't really done anything else yet. I'm supposed to call as soon as it starts so she can monitor me. Unfortunately we probably won't be doing IUI this coming cycle, we probably won't have enough time before DH leaves.
