So since november/december last year my periods have been SUPER long, heavy and painful.

Well this cycle..... im on CD5, and I had nothing but a tiny bit of spotting this morning.

Its like it just up and left?? Usually I have heavy bleeding through day 5 and then it slows and I still am needing pads till CD 8 or 9??

Has anyone had it happen where AF just seems to take a break for a day and then return like normal??

Or could I be hopeful that my periods are getting shorter?

It's funny that you mention that! I just had an AF where it was way shorter and way lighter than all my past months. It was seriously like 2 days of spotting and 1 medium day followed by a light day and then more spotting. I have no clue why this happened. I'm chalking it up to just a random cycle.

I hope for you though that it means your AF is getting shorter! It would be even better if AF would just stay away for about 9 months or so!!!

Well so much for that. I felt like a bubble, went to the bathroom and guess what.... Sit down clots droppin in the toilet and we are back to heavy painful af again. Oh well it would have been nice to have it shorter.

Oh man, I'm sorry... I was hoping that the witch would stay away or at least be much more tolerable for you.

I have had that same thing happen Jenn! I have even had it happen for about a day or so thinking AF left and then poof she is back. It is an evil trick of hers for sure!

I have had happening ever since last m/c at 17w.

I am so much pain I can truly understand why women seek a hyster to be rid of af! This is so new for me to experince and awful you cant do anywhere or do anything for the fear of bleeding all over the place.

I asked my RE about it and she said..Well it just means you have a healthy Rich plump juicy lineing all prepared for the baby.

All I could do was blink at her..That does not explain a darn thing considering its something that started out the blue LOL

DITTO!!!!!! I am very much against hormonal birth control, but at this point im ready to get on something so I DON'T have a period anymore. LOL But I just can't do that.

Thats good to know about the lining though.

Thats what it seemed like it was... like the flow was normal, then a clot got in the way and had to work its way out?? I dunno??
