I had a billion things lined up for Sat. Bake for a family reunion, go to a juice plus party, squeeze some football in there somewhere, go to my nieces' fall festival for their school, and go camping that night. Then the phone rang super early. My grandma died. I went to the hospital, but just felt like I was in the way, so I made a coffee fun for everybody. When I called my boss to give her as much notice as possible-- she never said she was sorry. Instead she asked me if I really needed two days off for the funeral. I am helping make plans. Besides that, Catholic services do happen over two days (wake, rosary, and funeral the next day). I still had to make it to the other sides family reunion because my mom had cooked all this food. I took it over. I was holding my niece and about 80 people asked if she was mine. WHen I said no, they asked why I did not have any. I finally started telling people that I ask the same question every day. Anyway, crazy day.
