Hi ladies--introducing myself here, too!

I have been posting on the Secondary Infertility forum but thought i'd jump in over here, too.

I just turned 28 and DH is 32. We each have a 6 year old from previous relationships! So I know I can get pregnant....not sure what is taking so long this time, except, as my RE pointed out--I am now 7 yrs older than I was when I got pregnant with my DD! It makes a difference, I guess.

We started trying (temping, charting, etc.) in October of 2007. We tried for 8 months, through my May cycle and then took a break in June-Sept. We had a busy summer---moved into a new house, went on vaca to Michigan for 2 weeks, and had some court/custody stuff with my stepson that took up a lot of our mental energy, not to mention finances. Plus--I just needed a BREAK. We made up our minds to just let nature take it's course over the summer, but I can't help but pay attention to my cycles--so I KNOW we didn't BD around ovulation time.

Things calmed down at the end of the summer, and we are now back in the game!

We are on our 9th month TTC--and I am currently in the 2WW.

I had a GREAT RE appt. last week. We decided to take a proactive approach and just make an appt. with an RE and get the ball rolling...hopefully, just to rule out problems...

He was wonderful--see my post on the Secondary Inf. board. In a nutshell, he did an u/s of my ovaries and said I had O'd within the last day or so. We timed BDing perfectly this month...He said my ovaries looks GREAT and I have a nice egg reserve.

He also did a post-coital exam and offered to let me see the CM sample under the microscope--there I got to see a few of DH's swimmers! CRAZY!

I go for a CD 21 blood draw on Tuesday. Also, on Tues. AM I will drop off DH's "stuff" for his SA. I am anxious to get those results back, as well as my progesterone count.

If this cycle doesn't work, the RE is going to schedule me for an HSG next cycle.

Welcome!. I'm April (22) married to Jeff (22).. We're almost in Month 12 of TTC our first.. We're trying this cycle with Clomid and IUI because we're dealing with MFI.. Good luck!

Welcome! I'm Cris (28) married to Shawn (33) and we've been trying for our first baby since August 2007. We're in our 15th cycle right now. I hope that your RE being so proactive will help you get that BFP really soon!!! Good luck and keep us posted on how things are going!

Hi & welcome! I'm Jackie (27), DH is Jon (28) and we've been TTC since Dec. 2007. We are currently on our 3rd round of Clomid, as I don't O on my own most of the time.

Im Jenn we are on month 11 of TTC. Despite having several kids we don't get pg easy. I have PCOS and this time around is proving to be the toughest.

to our group!!! I am Lynda. Alicia and I are the co-hosts of this board. We both have been a bit quiet here though due to failed cycles - again! so sorry this is late, but i wish you much success in TTC. i know how disappointing it can be month after month. but the ladies here all know it too well to and they are a wonderful source of support!!!! I am in my 10th month of trying. I was successful in june, but sadly it ended in a m/c. G/L
