DH and I were in the car the other day and I took over control of the radio while he was driving. He said he should pick since he was driving... we got into a debate (all in good fun) about it, and never came up with a solution (but I ended up listening to my CD). Not that it's a huge deal... we tend to like the same music, but sometimes he listens to so weird stuff (fife and drum CD's from his re-enactments?!?!?  Can you say ear plugs please!)
I need some back-up here as I'm sure this isn't the last of the "car music situation"  Help me out ladies!
When you are with your DH/SO, who has control of the radio? Or do you guys decide easily what you will listen to?
How about at home? Who controls the coveted Remote control?
Are there any other things like that where you and your DH/SO differ on opinions or battle it out to have control of?

lol ya'll are too funny... and to answer your questions...
When you are with your DH/SO, who has control of the radio? Or do you guys decide easily what you will listen to? I normally have control of it, but we basically listen to the same things (country and rock) so it doesn't really matter.
How about at home? Who controls the coveted Remote control? We both do... again we have similar tastes so we watch the same stuff. lol
Are there any other things like that where you and your DH/SO differ on opinions or battle it out to have control of? Not really, my DH is pretty laid back and honestly I'm spoiled rotten, so I always get my way  . I think the only thing that we "battle" over sometimes is what I should make for dinner

How about at home? Who controls the coveted Remote control? He has the remote! I don't really care b/c he watches way more tv than I do...if it's something I want to watch, we watch together, but he always has the remote!

My DH controls both cause i really don't care. I'm such a type A that i'm always thinking about what i need to do next rather than relaxing!!! we too, like the same music so it's not really an issue. but if i had to give my opinion, i would go with whoever drives gets to make the final decision. when i drive my DH tends to take a cat nap, so it just kinda works out that way.

How about at home? Who controls the coveted Remote control? I control the remote since df doesn't really watch that much t.v.

Dh and I like and watch all the same thing IF he needs to watch Sports he going to the other room lol
We both listen to same music as well.

How about at home? Who controls the coveted Remote control? We share it. Although we each have shows that the other doesn't really care about watching and then one of us will go in the bedroom if we really want to watch it.

Some cleaning things I do he thinks I am weird - we are both packrats so that becomes a problem. We are really too much alike for our own good - I hope that is a good thing when we are 80 - LOL!

It sounds like you all have it pretty much figured out! We had another hour long car ride today and I drove. We decided that whoever drives gets control! LOL... We listen to a lot of the same music, but sometimes he likes to listen to his re-enacting fife and drum music (  ) or he gets stuck on one group.
He loves a live Reel Big Fish concert on CD, and I honestly can recite it word for word including the speaking in between songs. Don't get me wrong- I love the group, but if that one CD fell off the face of the earth, I would not cry at all!
When we're at home, I generally get the remote. We like pretty much all the same shows, so it's not a big deal. If there is something I want to watch, I'll generally Tivo it.

Funny you ask because I remember like a year after DH and I started dating I said to him "One of the many reasons I love you is that you let me listen to whatever I want on the car radio" My exbf used to always change the station, that bothered me! I don't think it even phases DH (he talks a lot though, so the radio is more backround noise lol)
He usually holds the remote, but we typically decide what to watch together.
