I don't know anyone named this (thank god!) but I was just looking at some baby names online for ideas (just in case this is my month) and 1 of them was Babyboy. What!?!?! How unoriginal is that? Geez...

My mom used to work in the maternity ward and there was a woman who came in, had a baby girl and named her Little Bertha. The following year, she had a baby boy and named him Sir Reginald.

My DH worked with a older lady named Cricket... it fits her somehow he says.. I would've had my name changed if it was me, and then (kiddingly) beat my mother over the head!

I'm a children's librarian so I hear lots of these: Princess, Precious, Legend, Branch, and Treasure are a few that stick out. I went to college with a girl named Sunny Sailing--her middle name was Dayout.

A friend of mine named her baby girl Sloane which I thought was so different at first but now I think it's beautiful (and so is she!). And since Sloane was born I've heard of other girls with that name.
I know a boy named Badgely but the kids call him Badge. It's funny how different names grow on you after awhile.

When my middle DD Alyssa was in kindergarten there was a little boy in the other class named Precious. Really that was his name. A mom of a girl in Alyssa's class had told me that in their old school there was a girl named Guess. LOL!
My youngest DD is named Sierra and its kind of unusual as is Alyssa. My oldest is just a plain name of Nicole.

I like unique names but some of those are just strange...oh well, to each their own right? I think Sloane is kind of cool, but I would probably use it for a boy.

I went to college with someone named Unique. Yep. He was, indeed, unique. My dad's lawyers stepkids are Pride, Rutledge (Rutledge is a woman, and I can't remember if Pride is male or female), and another unusual name that I can't remember. My friend's dad was Pink. You'll think that I'm kidding, but 2 girls moved into the school system where I worked and I had to create their files and order their tests. Their last name, Chiapetta. Unusual, sort of fun...but their first names? Orangejello and Lemonjello. (OrONjuhlo and LemONjuhlo) A couple years later, 3 kids moved DIRECTLY from India with their mother to the school system. They had names that were hard to pronounce for the other little kids, but spoke no English. They took the first names they heard: Knifea, Forka, Spoona. I'm. Dead. Serious. They changed them later.
Went to college with a kid everyone called "B to Z" and his first name was Andy. I found out at graduation that he had a name for every letter of the alphabet. Lots of kids named after Egyptian gods there, too. Lots of natural names (Rain, Fire, Sky, Star). Went to high school with 4 kids who were named Sun, Moon, Star, and Sky, in that order. Sun dated a girl everyone called Sand (Sandra). Grew up with Sunshyne Sweatt.
I know more. Hehe. I love names. I won't go with utensil names or sweet, gelatinous treats, but I would like to have an unusually-named child.

I really dont know any unusual names, mine is Dedra which there are plenty out there but mine is spelled different than some they spell theres Deidre or Deidra I get called Debra alot to. But where I live its hard to pick out a name because someone always hears it and names there kids that. I have 2 nieces Destinee and Skylar and 3 nephews Kirkland, Dakota and Christian. I always thought Kirkland was odd but my sis got it off the little boy on the soap Another World!!!

I think we selected a great name for our daughter... Jorja Daisy. If we have another little girl her name will be Jasia (gasha). Another name I heard that I kind of like is Sage for a little girl.

I actually know a Sage and a Jasia. Beautiful names!
I've considered Xenia...DH likes it, too, so that's SOMETHING.

I had a friend in college who had 5 girls in her family. They went through the alphabet naming their girls...the last one was "Enuf."
