Hi ladies. I just wanted to let you all know that I'd be sort of MIA for a little while. I can feel that AF is on her way, just in time for the weekend (not due until Saturday anyway), and the BFNs this month stung really hard. To know that at the end of this month we've hit the 1 year mark makes me really sad, too. My doctor wants DH to do a SA in the coming weeks, and my ovaries need a break from the Clomid I've been giving them for 3 cycles now. If all comes back well with DH's SA (*I hope I hope*), we are moving on to an RE, with limited insurance coverage. (Yay for RE, boo for no infertility coverage). I'd like to still check in and let you all know results and such. And of course I'll be silently cheering you all on. I just need time away (for real this time), and since I won't have any medical assistance for this cycle, and most likely next cycle, my chances of O'ing on my own, let alone conceiving, will be slim.

I'll check in when I get some results and appointments made. to all of you.

Jackie! We will all miss you terribly, but understand that you need to do what's best for you and DH. Please don't be a stranger and keep us updated. Good Luck, Hun!

Thanks, Jessica. I'll miss you all too, but if I don't do this- I will go insane! Haha- I've been thinking about it all just too too much. I'll certainly check to see how your IUI goes!!

I understand the need for a break - I needed one too this last month, but I couldn't stay away as long as I probably needed. Good Luck with everything, keep us posted.

I hope the break brings you the peace and strength you need at this point in your TTC journey.

You helped lift me up out of the darkness when I found out DH's SA results - please, please let me know if there's anything I can do for you to make the one year mark easier!! I can help research insurance coverage (DH works in the industry ), RE costs for your area, anything.

We will be here when you get back!!

You are so so sweet. Thank you very much for the offer, and if I think of anything to ask you (or your DH) I'll certainly let you know. Thanks again.

Thanks, Cris. It's just something I need to do, ya know? I'll try to check on everyone sporactically, but I just won't be posting much... After AF comes to visit, I just need this to be a break from everything cycle. I will, however, be temping still so I can see if my body will O on its own this first cycle without Clomid. ((HUGS))

i do want to mention, that clomid is safe to take for 6 cycles max. then you gotta take a break. but maybe your situation is different!!! G/L and keep us posted on your progress!!!!

Yeah- I am allowed to take it for 6 months, but since I'm just with my OB right now, all of my cycles are not monitored (besides progesterone levels being drawn). So it's not as proactive as I'd like, and I'm sure an RE would help with that. I'd hate to use all 6 of my cycles of Clomid and THEN go to the RE and have to start with other measures... My ovaries have been very sore after 3 cycles of Clomid, so I personally just need the break. I'm being nice to my ovaries.
