So I had my u/s today.
Stupid stupid follicles were on the RIGHT side.

So I couldn't get a trigger shot. My right tube doesn't work.
As we know from the HSG, the left tube was blocked--the dye broke through and went through but the RE was honest with us today and said "it doesn't look great."
So--RE gave us 3 options:
1.) do another lap (had one in 2001 that revealed totally clear tubes) to see how functional the left tube is.
2.) Try Clomid + IUI for 3 months
3.) Go straight to IVF
We opted for option 2---we will try Clomid and IUI for 3 months. It seems to both DH and I that there's no need to do surgery. If my tube is open enough to work--the RE feels that IUI will work within 3 months. If we don't get PG within 3 months, that pretty much tells us what we need to know---that the left tube isn't functional enough. And we go to IVF.
The lap. cannot correct the blockage, so why do it?
Does anyone think this reasoning makes sense? WWYD?
I'm so in shock...I got pregnant ACCIDENTALLY with DD when I was 21...wow....now I am 28, married and trying and we can't get PG on our own. So ironic.
