so they say there is power in positive thoughts - so read the following - read it well - and then close your eyes for a minute or two and LIVE IT. Picture it in your mind and really live it!!!

It's the holiday and you are with your family (however big or small). you are sitting in a room together having a meal! as you sit at the table with the people you love, your mind wanders to your belly. you glance down and you smile. someone at the table asks why you are smiling and you say it's because you're very happy. you look down again at your belly - you and your DH have a secret NO one else knows!! there is a baby growing in your belly!! you LOVE having this little secret with DH only. You are filled with sheer joy and anticipation. you know soon you will share your secret with everyone, but for now, you just simply enjoy having it to yourselves!!!!!

LIVE IT!!!

edited to add: any time you feel down or negative about your cycle, come back to this post and read it and RE-LIVE it!!!!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Oh, I love this!

Just today---I was on the stairmaster and totally lost in thought about how we would feel at our first u/s, how it would be to tell our kids, my parents, DH's dad, friends, etc.

I think there IS truth in the power of positive thinking!

i have been crying off and on all day because im so nervous/anxious for our first IUI on monay! and i keep having dreams thatI will get to tell dh on his bday (12/27) that it worked....and this is exactly the type of positive thought I have had since my RE ordered the IUI! Thank you for posting this!!
