okay so im so confused...my cycle has been so failed up since my mc in may..it was 33 days for awhile and then 32 and this past month it was only 31. so if i go by 31 days and my luteal phase is 14 days then i am due to O on the 18th..well i took a opk yesterday and the day before and they were both +..so we made sure to bd both of those nights..then today i took one around 6pm and it was neg..now either i have already o'd OR it was just the wrong time to take the opk..also i dont have any ewcm..i have some sticky/creamy cm but not real thick like ihave had in the past..the only other explanation i can think of is that each month im gonna move closer to a 28 day cycle again and so maybe since my cycle is getting shorter, i did indeed Ovulate sooner..oh heck i dont know..i dont know weither im in the 2ww or not..i have been temping but i dont see a big dip yet grr also..i go for FSH and progestertone testing my next cycle on days 3,10 and 21 to determine if im ovulating at all! i just dont get why id get 2 pos on the opk if im not..it was 2 different brands too..what are the chances of 2 false positiveS?

sorry for all of these posts and if you already read this on ttc after m/c

i found this when i was looking up stuff on ovulation

1. Ovulation prediction kits do not test for ovulation. Ovulation predictor kits measure the LH surge that precedes ovulation, but can't confirm whether you have actually ovulated. Occasionally, an egg fails to emerge from its follicle after the LH surge has occurred, a condition known as LUFS (luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome).

2. Ovulation prediction kits don't indicate whether cervical mucus is conducive to fertilization. The mucus produced by the cervix in midcyle, which you experience as vaginal discharge, must have a certain consistency (clear and elastic, like egg whites) in order to provide a fertile environment for sperm to swim

i still say this is my problem..maybe i get the surge but my egg still doesnt drop..does anyone else have LUFS? what do they do for it?!

and about the ewcm...i dont have that..all i have is creamy cm

also one more question..do you think its a long shot that i will get any answers if i go to my dr.s and get cd21 blood work?! i seen some women only go day 21..she wants me there day 3,10 and 21 of next cycle but i dont feel like waiting =X

It doesn't hurt to call your doc to ask for an appointment. The worst she can say is wait til next month, and the best, she'll get you in NOW! I don't ever have EWCM around O time...more creamy and watery than anything, and very little of that! I don't always O, either. I get the surge, get the feeling, get the symptoms of post-O, but no egg drop. We'll all pretty much have an anovulatory cycle here and there, but if you think that this has been going on for a while, then I'd definitely get it checked out. On the plus side, it sounds like you may be returning to a shorter cycle! WOOHOO!

I'd call your doc and discuss it with her, see what she thinks you should do for this cycle. I hope you get some answers, and please keep us updated!!!

Daniellea-Are you charting? That is the best way to tell whether that egg is dropping. Good luck with the doctor though!
