Two days in a row mine has given me super low temps so I retook it each time and it went up a bit. This morning the beep-beep-beep sounded pretty funky too. How long are they supposed to last? I have been using this one (at least) once a day for 7 months. Think it needs trading in?

It sounds like you might need to change the battery, but I've been using the same thermometer for at least 4 years without changing the battery!!! Still, probably better safe than sorry, right?

I agree I would change the battery. It might be ok but you don't need to change it in the middle of a month if you get a new one you need to do it at the begining of the cycle.
