Ladies - I am finally back in the game!! Well, not quite... but close enough!!

So you all know that for these last 2 months TTC, I've been on birth control as we've been waiting to decide on our final IVF schedule. So even though I still consider us TTC of course there is technically no way we could get pregnant. Which has been kinda sad

BUT - I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!! Our RE called this morning and we got our calendar!!! I am so happy to finally have some dates!!!

Here it is!

1/22 - start Lupron
1/26 - stop BCPs
1/28 - ultrasound
1/31 - start Follistim (perfect timing, because I didn't want to start stimming until DH's biopsy confirmed we'd have enough sperm to do IVF... and the biospy is scheduled for the day before!)
2/05 - ultrasound and mock transfer
2/09 - estimated ER date
2/12 - estimated transfer date for 3-day transfer
2/14 - estimated transfer date for 5-day transfer

I have never been so excited to start injecting myself with meds and hormones. I am so grateful everything is finally starting to come together. Our meds arrived 2 weeks ago, we've finished all our labwork, we've signed all the paperwork - getting our calendar was the last step!

Thanks for letting me share!! Lynda - when you start the Feb list, please add me with a testing date of 2/28/09 . It might be sooner but that'll be my placeholder for now. I can't wait to be back on the list!!

Thank you so much ladies!! They need to create a little icon for *doing the happy dance*

Christina - you're not being nosy! We are going to the regular, non-shared risk plan for the first cycle. We have some insurance benefits that we want to use before we go into Shared Risk. We'll exhaust our lifetime insurance coverage for ART with cycle 1, so after that we'll move onto Shared Risk. I'm hoping we won't need to do more than one cycle though!!!

Thank you so much everyone. I am trying to stay optmistic and hopeful. I am definitely scared of everything that needs to happen in order for us to get pregnant, but it will be so worth it if we do!! I will certainly keep you all updated every step of the way I won't be able to survive this without my JM sisters!!
