I have been thinking about this alot! I am really praying that this is our month! I can't decide when I want to test. I'm not sure if I want to test at 12 dpo or 14 dpo. I have to tell dh 2 days later so that I can test without him knowing! I really want it to be special when I tell him. I know that I say that now, but I don't know I will be able to keep it from him! Hopefully I could atleast hold out until after work and then tell him.

When it come to our parents. I really don't WANT to tell them too early, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep it a secret. I will probably try and wait until my birthday which is in March. I will be turning 30 and thought that after they give me my birthday presents then I could say I've got something for them and give them something for a baby. For my parents, this would be their 8th grandchild, but for dh's parents this will be their 2nd. Their first is by my husband an ex-girlfriend and they have a hard time handling the situation. Long story! They are crazy!

So, I am open to any suggestions! I had hoped to be pregnant at Christmas and was going to hang the "extra" stocking, but that didn't work!

well this depends...

We have lost two babies so I dont know if I want to have my girls involved or not but here are a couple of ideas that I had...

1) Give each girl a sign - the first says "daddy did you know", the second says "that mommy" and the third "Is pregnant?" - then line them up by age holding the signs.

2) Give each daughter a sign. Each one will say "member of the big sisters club" and then it will say "since:________" at the bottom with the age of their next sibling on it. For example my 14 yo's will say Member of the big sisters club since December 1997. My 8 yo's will say Member of the big sisters club since April 2000 and my youngests will say Member of the big sisters club... membership pending until September 2006"

I'll tell him right away. As far as the family, I would like to keep that a secret as long as possible because of what happened last time. It might be easier than I think if dh gets his orders soon.

It so sad that we're all so afraid to spread the news to family too soon! Totally understandable, but still sad.

There are some great ideas!!! I've never figured out, for as long as we've been trying, how to tell families. I still feel like I'll think, "Knockedupknockedupknockedup" instead of being overly excited...I'm terrified of the reaction!!! Hehe.

We bought an adidas outfit for motivation. If we get the BFP, Im going to buy shoes to go with the outfit and put them out somewhere. Haven't decided where.
For my family, when were are 3 months or more along, when its pretty safe, I plan on telling them by wrapping everyone up a bottle with candy in it and have a little card with a ribbon around the top that says something about "Were having a baby".. or something like that.
As you can tell, Ive had time to think it over.. lol.
