I like to take mine down ASAP after Christmas. It's great an wonderful to have in the house, but after December 25th it's not pretty to me anymore. It's just a giant chore staring me in the face waiting to be done. I like to get it over with.

DH likes to keep it up until New Year's Day. This year I'm waiting since he doesn't have to work. Mr. "let's leave it up a week after Christmas" can help me take it down!

I'll probably take ours down on New Year's Day. I put SO much Christmas stuff up all around the house, it'll probably be a two day project!

Ummmm - we leave it up until after The Epiphany of the Lord (this year it is the 4th). So sometime that week (5-9) I will start taking the ornaments off when AJ is asleep (2 year old help isn't good) and then DH will take the lights off and we will pack up the tree together. It will be down completely by the next weekend probably.

We usually take our tree down the week of the 1st. We like to leave it up and enjoy it as long as we can!

We usually take it down on Jan. 1st each year. I wanted to take it down on Sunday but DH wouldn't let me.

I usually get to keep it up till Jan 1. However this year it came down on 12/26. I put the tree in the media room this year rather than its usual spot in the dining room, and DH swore it was messing up his acoustics (he is a big audiophile). So as soon as Christmas was over he was packing up the tree and rearranging his speakers back to their usual spots

This is our first tree together, so since we go out of state for Christmas, I imagine we will usually take it down around the New Year since we don't have to work. We both have Thur-Sun off so it will be coming down one of those days.
