Okay-I have a question for those of you who have been trying for awhile. I have read a lot of posts where women have said AF is due on this or that day, but is a week late, but then they get it and the cycles go on and on....are many of your AF's not regular? When you try for a long time does AF come late more often? My AF is usually on time every month-we just started trying. I don't know if this makes any sense, but it just seems that a lot of women have late AFs and get BFN...???

Well some of us have long or irregular cycles - I am one of them, but I chart, so I'll only know if I am late when my LP goes longer than normal (which it hasn't yet). But my cycles have never been a perfect X number of days - even before TTCing. They used to be in the low to mid 30 days long - now they are longer. Maybe it is due to the stress of TTCing or it could be the fact that I am 37 - or a combo of both.

But there are other reasons some of the ladies are late and getting BFN's. For some they are just coming off b/c so their cycles are readjusting themselves - they are used to the 28 cycle since that is what B/C does, but they may not be on one. Another is stress will delay ovulation and I think since we just came out of a holiday period, many ladies got a delayed ovulation due to the stress of the holidays. IMHO

Thanks! That makes sense-stress in this situation is inevitable! Man, it's hard not to!
