What to expect?

I have no clue what to expect. Do they do intravag u/s when you just see RE for consult?

If we go with injects do you have to take a class just for IUI and injects?

I have had clomid challange done and the last year of charting. Is there any other blood work/tests you need prior?

My OB wanted me to consult with another clinic 8 hours away for IVF. It was my idea to try injects and IUI before IVF plus this clinic is only 1 and 1/2 hours away and this RE feels she can help.

I have never had a u/s to check for cysts or fibroids ect.

I am worried she might send me off for a more tests that I have not done yet and blow another cycle.. I just dont want to waste more time.

I also never did clomid this cycle. I knew I would be seeing RE and wanted to come into the next phase of treatment off a med break cycle.

I wish I could offer you some advice, but I have no clue! I do want to wish you lots of luck with the next steps in your journey though! Hopefully you won't have to get too far into tests and procedures and stuff before you get your BFP!

Gosh...Prodedures never even crossed my mind!

After I read that I realised that getting a BFP last month even though I had a chem pg with a beta of just 30 that I shouldnt need a HSG/Lap/or anything like that first?

I didn't mean to scare you with the word procedures! I'm sorry!!!

I would tend to agree with you that since you did get pregnant last cycle, they will probably refrain from the bigger stuff right away!

Ughh I had to rebook my apoint for Thursday the 8th. We are haveing some terriable snowstorms here and noway can we get there tomorrow . It is a 1 and 1/2 drive one way and the snow is still just dumping!

The school bus got stuck getting to school and my Oldest kids in high school got home a hour late as the bus got stuck again after dropping off my elementry kids( we are last on the route's)

They have the bus's running with chains and it not helping it is so bad and only getting worse lol

At my first RE consult they asked a TON of questions, did bloodwork, and then did a vaginal ultrasound. I would guess that they'll do that stuff first and look at the results before they decide to do anything else.

I already have had the blood work done and did the clomid challange. Dh had a s/a done and it was normal but that was a couple years ago. I did all the forms/history and questions back in Sept with this RE so she has all that. I am hopeing that is it and we can move forword asap.

I really hope she will do a u/s I have never seen my overies and have no clue what shape they are in.

Thankfully all consults and any tests/blood work/u.s/ prodedures ect to diagnose fertility issues are all covered.

I called the office and they said I dont pay till I sign a contract and they set up a treatment plan.

She couldnt say what I could expect though. She said it is whatever the Dr thinks needs to be done..ughh lol
