I just wanted to check in on how you're doing!!! I know you're getting close to starting the IVF process. How are you feeling about everything?

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Oh, you guys are so sweet! I am sorry I haven't been on the boards lately. We got really bad news last week. On Tuesday my mom was hospitalized and on Wed DH's grandmother had a massive heart attack and suffered 80% heart failure. We got on the red-eye Thursday morning and flew to Minnesota to be with DH's family; the doctors had given his grandmother 24 hours to live. I didn't have any time to come on here and let you guys know we were headed out of town. We JUST got back to Richmond tonight after a crazy day of traveling (hit the wind/ice storm in Chicago and got cancelled three times, delayed an additional two!!). Last week was crazy - we were in the hospital from dusk to dawn and in the evenings I was on the phone with my dad/sister checking in my mom. She had a bacterial infection which the doctors feared was going into her brain. Luckily it was not and after a few days in the hospital on heavy antiobiotics, they were able to clear it all out and she was just discharged a couple days ago.
So... that's my update. I am sooo tired but I had to come on JM and see what I missed!! And yes, I start our IVF cycle next week!! Gosh, time flew. We have our injections class on Tuesday and then I start the Lupron on 1/22. DH's biopsy is on 1/30, and I start stimming on 1/31. Estimated egg retrieval/transfer are the week of 2/6. I haven't let myself get too excited about anything because so many bad things have happened lately and this entire TTC journey has just been filled with roadblock after roadblock too. So, I'm trying to take things day by day!

Oh wow Juli! I'm so sorry that you have so much on your plate with your families! I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's Grandmother... I'm sure the family appreciates your going out there. I'm so glad that your Mom is doing better. How scary for you to have to go through all of that! Please don't apologize for not letting us know where you were- you did what you had to do!!! Your family comes first!!! 
You are getting so close!!! You've waited for this for so long.... I'm definitely keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers! I can understand your wanting to take things one day at a time. I think that'll prove to be a good plan in the end! Good luck and keep us posted when you can!

Sure sounds like it is time your family got some good news - hopefully you will have a BFP this cycle.

Thanks Melissa. I'm sorry if I missed your updates on the lap in TTCwMA - it's taking me awhile to get caught up. Are you still on for Feb IUI? You're keeping my seat warm in the Nov DDC, right??
