I went yesterday for my HSG, both my tubes are blocked.
Has anyone dealt with this before??
I have my "sono" thing today to check for fibroids in my uterus and I am hoping afterwards they will sit down and talk to me about what we will do next.
I am heartbroken.
Kinda makes me think that the pregnancy was a tubal and it took care of itself maybe?

oh no jenn. did they indicate what might have caused the blockage? i don't know much about it, but if it's not scar tissue, i'm pretty sure they can fix it. they might even be able to fix it if it's scar tissue, but i thought i heard that is a much more difficult situation. did they give you any information?
HUGS girl!!!!!

OMG!
I am stunned!
How is that they are blocked now after 6 kids?
Have you had a infection or anything since last baby?
I have a d&c in April for retained placenta after I had my dd at 17W. They are doing HSG just in case *something happened*
KUP. I am sorry about the bad news.

I am so sorry. It is weird that you have blockages after 6 kids. Did you have c-sections? Keep us posted - I hope that they can take care of the blockages easily and you get your BFP soon!

Nope no c-secs.... The doc is thinking maybe endo, which is very odd given I have had children. But who knows.

I have 1 blocked tube, 1 partially blocked.
My RE said we could do a lap. to investigate---but he seemed to, in so many words, advise against it. He left it up to me and my DH---but he pretty much said that if it's scar tissue, which is almost ALWAYS is in the tubes, there is nothing they can do to correct it.
We're trying IUI for 3 cycles to see if an eggie can make it down the tube...
But I also have 1 partly open tube. My right tube is totally shot and if I have eggs on my right ovary, they don't even matter. I CANNOT get pregnant from my right side.
We're looking towards IVF anyway....did our 2nd IUI last week and I just have a *feeling* that it didn't work.
Our RE was gently guiding us to IVF, as that is usually the best option when you have tubal issues.
I know it's scary and overwhelming but you will figure it out! Please keep us posted about what your doctor says....(((HUGS)))
