I went in to check my CP tonight and everything in there feels very... um... tight? I dont know if thats not the right word. Swollen isnt completely right either. I just know that there is ALOT less space than normal.

Anyone else every experience this?

I cant remember with my last pregnancies if I felt this way or not because I didnt know about CP etc.

Unfortunately, CP and CM aren't really good indicators of much after ovulation. Often, my cervix would be high and soft right before AF, and even during. The cervix really seems to have a mind of its own post-O. I know that's not much help...but it also means that the way it feels could be perfectly normal for you and isn't cause for concern. I hope that you're not worried about it!

And you have no reason to feel embarrassed...have you SEEN some of the things we ask/talk about?!

Oh sorry if I wasnt clear - I am not talking about my CP - I am talking about myself internally - the entire inside of my vagina feels "swollen" and "tight". There is barely space in there for my fingers to check CP.

Ah, sorry...hehe. And still, no need to be embarrassed. I know exactly what you're talking about!

Mine is swollen and tight in some cycles, but remarkably so when I'm pregnant, or in the cycles following the losses. So, again, not entirely reliable, but if it's unusual for you, it's worthy of note!!! Is this the first time you've noticed it?

Yes this is the first time. I have only been charting for 3 months but I have been checking CP and CM for THREE YEARS and never had this before. Its been two days now... trying to convince myself this is just a fluke. For example, I dont know what its called (LOL) but you know that opening for your urethra (sp?) that is just inside your vagina at the top? Its double its normal size... thats how swollen I am in there.
