I need some help please!!!
Yesterday (Saturday) DH and I were at my in-laws hanging out with a big group of family because Shawn's cousin came home from West Point (He's a Senior Cadet who played football there- we rarely get to see him). Well, Shawn's cousin and his friend (another West Point Sr), along with his other cousin who's a Sr in High school all stayed over night at my in-laws. The beer was flowing (DH was a VERY good boy- only half a beer cause of his 200% promise) and they were all playing XBox (which is in our bedroom at my in-laws) so even if I wanted to go to sleep I couldn't... there were two 250lb 6ft+ tall guys laying on my bed! We stayed up until 4:30 am Eventhough he promised that we'd BD, DH and I were both so tired and there were people sleeping in the room right underneath ours. So we missed out on that (But we'll make up for it today for sure).

Anyhow, I knew that I wasn't going to get my normal amount of sleep before I temped, or even 3 hours before my normal temping time (6:35), so I did a few things.... I temped at my normal waking time (6:35), Then I set the alarm for an hour later (7:45- hoping that would be like the 3 hours of sleep), and then I temped again when I woke up for the day (10:15am). I wrote down all the temps and am staring at FF wondering which to put in.

I also have to add that when we went to sleep, the room was 78 degrees (we have a thermometer on the alarm clock), so we opened a window and turned on the fan. Ususally my temps aren't really effected if I have the window open a crack or the fan on but when I woke up at 10:15, the temp in the room was 59 degrees... So I wonder if that effected things too since my temps were lower than what I think they should be.

I wouldn't worry too much generally, but I'm on CD14 today and I generally O anywhere between CD13 and CD15. So, I'm worried about what it'll tell me... what should I do?

Temp: 6:35am- 96.66
Temp: 7:45am- 96.84 (Temped again cause it went really fast which is not normal for my BBT) 96.86
Temped at 10:15am- 96.66

I'm definitely no charting expert, so I'd really appreciate any help! Thanks guys! Oh yeah- sorry that this got so long... I really need to work on my rambling.....

I'd just use the 96.66 temp and make a note in FF.

Honestly, I'm kind of going through the same thing. I was convinced that I O'd on CD 15 (and my temp was accurate, but I was getting my cold), and then this weekend I went to bed REALLY late Friday and Saturday and am having the same problem as you. I used the higher temps because I really thought I O'd, but now I think I haven't O'd due to CM and CP again today... so I'll probably go back (depending on tomorrow's temp) and put in the lower temps as my CH's will probably be taken away anyway! Isn't this fun?

It has been awhile since I temp'd, so any advice from me would be pretty useless. I just wanted to say good luck and I'm glad DH is still keeping his 200% promise!! Yay for good hubbies!!

Thanks girls! I'll use the 96.66 and make a note like you guys suggested. Hopefully it won't mess up my chart too much! We're at my inlaws again tonight, and the room is already at 76 degrees. (Gotta love that my FIL is on blood thinners) so I have the window open a bit, and the fan on and hopefully it'll cool down a bit!

Jackie- I'm sorry you're going through the same thing! It stinks that it happens right during O time, doesn't it?!?!? And to top it all off, you are battling that cold! That is totally not fair... I say you deserve a BFP for going through all of this!

Hmmm - I am no temping expert. But, I would have used the 96.86 and put a note in the notes field (maybe with all of the temps).

Aww, thanks! I need to produce an eggie before I can get that BFP, and no sign in sight of that yet! I really hope this doesn't become a long and annovulatory cycle again. BOO!

I put all the temps in the notes field and I think if my chart gives me any trouble, then I'll play around with the different temps and see what it does as far as CHs and stuff. I'm still waiting to get CHs so I'll have to see what the next few days bring! Thanks for your advice!

Keep on BDing girl! I am hopeful for ya!

Oh we're definitely BDing our little hearts out! And we plan on continuing probably through the rest of the week. I should totally have O'ed by this weekend, but hey- a little insurance can never hurt, right?!

I have been told by my BOM instructor that I should still continue BDing AT LEAST 2 days after peak.

That's an awesome suggestion! Definitely want to cover all the bases! Our plan is to try to BD pretty much everyday for the rest of the week. We've been doing so well! Unfortunately we're in for some bad weather (16 inches of snow through the night tonight) and that generally means DH will be staying at the motel where he works. He helps the maintenance crew clear snow and do plowing, then sleeps in an empty room. That means no BDing tomorrow, but we made sure to BD tonight and definitely plan on it early Thursday when he gets home! Whoo hoo for lots of BDing!
