Hello ladies. I don't spend much time posting on these boards I usually lurk.
Anyways, I'm 12 dpo today and I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. This cyle has just been so different from the others. Dh and I actually bd'd on every fertile day, I took mucinex to help thin out my cm and hubby quit smoking and has been taking vitamin supplements.
By 12 dpo I'm usually spotting, bloated and have a few pimples on my face. So far, nothing. My boobs don't even hurt as bad as normal. I'm trying to be patient and wait to test until af is late, which should be Saturday, but I really feel the urge to pee on something!
HELP!
***Well, no BFP for me this month. AF came this evening. I was really upset when I started spotting, but dh and I have decided to buy the fertility monitor instead of relying on my opk interpreting. I'll start temping again as well. I'm hoping that the monitor helps pinpoint my ovulatioin more clearly. I do believe that has been the biggest problem in our ttc journey.

I am no help. I would pee on a dollar store test. I hope you can hold out if that is really what you want to do.

I just really don't want to see another bfn, so I've been trying to wait until af is late. Every cycle I tell myself I'll wait, and then it just doesn't happen. I'm horrible!

I am there with you, but I usually know about a week ahead of time when AF is on her way. If I was strong enough I would wait - DH doesn't help he keeps telling me to test.

Annie!!! Step away from the sticks!!! I bet if you wait another day or two and still have no signs of AF, then it would be safe to test! Looking at your past 2 cycles (I know the ones before that were mega-crazy long), I think it's a great sign that you haven't started spotting yet! Hang in there... I know you can do it!
If you really feel the need to pee on something, find a ice pop stick and pee on that! Or a Qtip or something. Or you could do something that our co-host here Lynda did a few times and pee on a HPT but don't look and put it on a really high shelf for a day or two... That way you've peed on something, but you don't have to look at the results! he he he
I really am hopeful that this is it for you! I say give it another day or two... I'll be keeping you in my prayers that you get your BFP and here's some too!
Oh yeah, if you felt like posting a bit more, the ladies here are ABSOLUTELY the BEST! So supportive and friendly! They've put up with me for a while too, so they're bordering on Sainthood! Definitely keep us posted though cause I'll be stalking you and wondering how you're doing!!!

It was a close one! Whew! I changed my mind because I only have one more test and didn't want to have to go back to the drug store tomorrow. I swear this is a sickness.

Hey- whatever keeps you from going over that testing edge!!! It really is a sickness! I am a POAS Pansy and I still get this insane urge to test all the time... fortunately my fear of seeing another BFN keeps me from doing it!

Sounds very promising!
I am bad, I can't help but POAS if I have one.
You could do it today!

Well, there I was in this morning, having to pee so bad and looking for my test. The box was empty! I couldn't believe that I didn't remember that I needed to get more!
So, I'll probably be testing tomorrow if I don't start spotting or anything. I'm not very hopeful. I woke up crampy this morning. We shall see.

Oh no! Well it looks like some force was keeping you from testing today then! I wouldn't worry too much about the cramps, they can also be an early pregnancy sign too... Isn't it lovely that AF symptoms and eraly pregnancy symptoms are so similar? Ugh! Hang in there! STAY AWAY AF!!!!!

I hope this is your month and AF stays away. Cris is right - cramping is a early pregnancy symptom too.
