I broke my Thermometer!
I was talking with DH today (Saturday) about how I wanted to head out and pick up a new battery for my thermometer and he asked what kind it took, so I remember reading in the info booklet that came with it that you just have to pull the end cap off and the battery will be right there. Ummm... I think I pulled too hard cause now it turns on and just says "ERR".
Oops!!!
I tried to run out today to get a new one, but I had to go to my in-laws to help clean and set up for a birthday party for DH's Aunts... so I never made it out. It's 10pm and everyone just left and I'm pretty sure the Store is closed now! DH did come up to me in the afternoon and told me that as part of his 200% plan, he'd go to the store and get me one, but then his Dad needed his help with something and people were arriving by the time we thought of it again! I'll head out tomorrow and pick up a new one. I did ask if his parents had a regular digital thermometer since we're staying there for the night but apparently they aren't prepared for if their DIL breaks her thermometer. It's like they don't know we're ttc or something! Oh wait- They DON'T know!
At least if it was going to happen it happened after I got my CH's! I'm thankful for that!
DH was pretty funny- he told me that I reminded him of a little kid who took some electronic and dismantled it and couldn't put it back together right.
It's totally something I would do when I was little though! :biggrin:
Ahh, So I actually get to sleep in tomorrow! I haven't slept past 6:30am in so so long! I thought you guys might get a little chuckle out of my crazy antics... especially after I was asking about batteries and dying thermometers just the other day!
