I got a message that I was getting 30 free days of VIP FF. (I use the basic FF cause I'm cheap and that is all I really need). It said that since someone signed up for a paid subscription either 1-through an email invite I sent them or 2-by signing up through a link on my homepage, I was entitled to 30 free days of VIP FF.
I never emailed anyone about FF as most everyone I know already uses it!  so that means someone had to have signed up through my homepage. I have no clue who it is though.  I'm always leery of things that come free though so I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else before? I don't think I have too much personal information on FF (Can't remember to be honest), but I know I have never given any billing info or anything like that (I think). So yeah, I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else, or if it's something I should check into further. Don't get me wrong, as long as it's legit, I'll happily take the 30 free days of VIP (hoping I only need like 7 or 8 more days of FF before I get my BFP), but I'm just curious!

Twice I have gotten "free" VIP trials, but only for maybe 5 days each. Maybe you're just lucky!

Yeah, I have gotten the 5 free days of VIP before a few times, but this is 30 days! Maybe this is my lucky week... as long as it's not some sort of scam!

FF is Fertility Friend. It is a charting website.
As for the 30 vs 5 day free trials, they do it every once in awhile. I didn't use FF since a couple months after having AJ when I started using it again in December 2007 I think I got a free 30 day trial. They do it every once in awhile. I think it is so you get hooked on all the extras so you pay for it when your trial expires. I got the VIP for awhile - it made me obsess even more. I am done with that though. And invariably the trials will start right after you have O'd.

I've gotten that before too... I think it's secretly their way of getting you to use or try the VIP, and hopefully hook you into buying it.  (Hooked me on the first shot)

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Thanks girls! I guess I should just stop second guessing it then! It's still weird, but I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth (so to speak). I tried to go in and check out the info that I have in there (personal info) and I don't have anything that will really give anyone any thing good on me, so I'm not too worried. I suppose I will enjoy my 30 days and hope and pray I'll only need about 10 more days of FF!

I'm just lurking over here so dont mind me just wanted to put my  in!! lol I've got a 30 day free trial before it was nice. I plan on buying a 30 day trial at the beginning of my cycle so I have the VIP features I might keep it depending on if I REALLY like it or I get my bfp next cycle.

Hey Laci! I don't mind your ! I've had the free VIP trials before (only the 5 or 7 day ones) and I found that I obsess more... probably cause there is more info to go crazy over!

Lifetime would be cool!
I bought the VIP, then got pregnant so I didn't use it anymore. Well I had a m/c. I didn't know you could put the VIP on hold! Wish I had done that. Oh well!
