Big O

OK ... this may sound odd ... but ...
Does it help or hinder the spermies on their journey
if I get my "big O" before hubby does ?

If it hinders ... I want to make sure that I don't "enjoy" too much !

Looking for all the best avenues right now ...

clomid ... pre-seed ... BD'ing before, during and just after the ovulation days ...
trying to do all the right things ...

I hear differing things on it. I usually make sure around ovulation time I mentally put his O before mine, and get mine after his, because I can't ever time mine with him. He has requested I don't tell him when I ovulate because it makes him feel pressured to perform, so I just let him do what he needs to do and I tell him a few days after.

I also have heard conflicting ideas about this... some say that it's better if the woman O's after the man as it creates like a vacuum and sucks up the spermies... Others say that it really doesn't work that way... I haven't ever asked a medical professional, so I can't really answer you, but as far as my personal experience, I generally try to make sure I O after my DH. I find that there is less "leakage" that way.

I have heard that a good O HELPS in TTC, but I would think it needs to happen at the same time or just after??

i've heard about the after suction thing. we always did it that way and it was successful for us. we used pre-seed and i took clomid. G/L

I've heard conflicting stories also.

Personal question- do you think it's ok to use a vibrator right afterwards to get to the Big O? I didn't know if the vibrator (kept on the outside really) would shake around the swimmers too much.

Sometimes, I'm so physically sensitive, that it has to happen with a vibrator and not by DH (TMI, I know).. A lot of times I just go without O'ing...

Jackie, I don't think a vibrator would hurt things. Here's another tmi.....during O time we bd with him on top while I put my hand between us and help myself along. We're able to time our O's at almost the exact same time. I think it works because I have had to ask him if he O'd because nothing comes out!

Hmm, I'll give that a shot too, I guess. Thanks for the helpful hint.
