She has gone MIA... I "started" AF on Wednesday (though it was rather light, but a bunch of clots- sorry TMI), it was medium at best on Thursday (and that's a stretch), and then by Friday all I had was spotting. Yesterday was literally just one spot and that was it.

I know that every once in a while a cycle goes by that is really easy/light, but this is my second one in a row... I'm not sure what to think. I usually have at least 2 medium-heavy days and then 2 light days and then that's it, but this hasn't been the case or me the last two cycles. Now, It's not like I don't mind the easy, light, cramp free cycle, but this just can't be a good thing when you are ttc?!?! Right?

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I'm just curious cause I'm not sure this is exactly normal....

I would call your Dr Cris.... I dunno if it's a big deal or not, but I don't recall having any AF's like that. Maybe one of the other girls has an explanation.

Thanks Toni... I had a feeling you'd say that! Probably cause that's what you said Thursday on the phone! I'll probably give the Dr a call tomorrow. I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else and kinda of wondered what to expect to hear from the Dr about it...

By the way, I love your new siggie... Green for your favorite day of the year?

I would call the doctor too, Cris. Initially I thought it sounded suspicious of a chemical pregnancy, but to have it 2 cycles in a row is a little odd. I'd get checked out just to be safe. Are you still planning on going anyway to discuss MA? Would be a good topic to bring up in that discussion if so.

I'd call the Dr too. I've never had too light an AF, although mine are never really heavy either. But if they're that light, I'd be afraid the lining isn't as thick as it should be, and there's not much to shed. I completely made that up though (but it sounds possible!), don't want to freak you out LOL

I don't know.. knowing me, I'd just go with it and probably wouldn't call my doctor (although I certainly don't think it's a bad idea, I just know me!). I'm sort of in the same boat as you, as AF sort of started Thursday, but was so barely there that I called it spotting, Friday was HEA-VY, then yesterday was back to light again. Today, nothing much at all.... So really a 2 day AF... I think our bodies LOVE to confuse us.

Over the last few months my cycle has just gotten very light. I never have heavy flow and i used to have a pretty heavy cycle. The first day is the heaviest and by the 3rd its super light and pretty much stays that way until its gone. Since its your second in a row like this, maybe your cycle is just changing. But it sure wouldn't hurt to call the doc!

I would probably also call the doctor if it is something that has been happening for a couple of months and it doesn't seem to be your norm. Are you thinking of talking to him/her about any other MA?

I have had 2 super weird cycles too. I have only had 2 days of AF the last two cycles. My OB didn't say anything when I was at his office on day 3 and my period had stopped. The only time I have had short AF's is when I was on the pill. No real answers though I know. Sorry. I would call the doctor if it made you feel better.

Mine have been heavier since my m/c. My question is: have you tested? Your temps are still mostly above your coverline.

Hmm... I never thought of anything like a chemical pregnancy Juli. I am going to try to see if my Dr is in the office tomorrow and if they are, I'll ask about the weird cycles and also the MA steps too... even though DH hasn't fully agreed to it, I figure it can't hurt to talk to the Dr, right?

Sure, freak a girl out Christine! LOL... I'm just kidding. I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't prepared for any and all answers! I was thinking along the same lines- that there isn't much of a lining to shed if my AF is so light... either that or (and I don't even know if this is possible) but maybe I'm not shedding the whole lining or something... I don't know! LOL... hopefully my Dr will!

Why is it that our bodies like to confuse us right when we want and need them to cooperate! Annoying!!! I'm sorry your body is being annoying too!

I wouldn't mind a really light and bearable AF if I wasn't TTC, but since this isn't normal for me, a red flag went up in my head, hopefully its nothing though!

That's what I was thinking... what would I be out if I went to the Dr, a few hours of my time right?

Yeah, I figure it would be a perfect opportunity to ask about it all (even if DH hasn't agreed completely yet). He's dragged his feet long enough and maybe this is some higher power's way of telling me that I need to talk to my Dr! LOL... or at least that's what I'll tell my Hubby

It's crazy that I'm pretty much complaining about a light AF, right? Most women would probably tell me I'm crazy! I just don't want anything else (if there's anything keeping us from getting pregnant to begin with) happening!

I haven't tested. I figured AF was here so why waste a test. My temp did go down a bit today, but I suppose anything is possible! Maybe I'll take a IC tomorrow and see what happens... at least I can tell my Dr that I got a negative if that's what it is, and if it's a positive, I'll have DH update you guys after he picks me up off the floor from passing out!

Lucky girl! LOL... I have never really had too bad of an AF, but this is just weird for me! I'm jealous of you though!

Oh man Jackie... I'm sorry that she showed up again to ruin the party. Poopy!

My Dr is on vacation for the day but will be back tomorrow. So, I did call but no one wanted to venture a guess as to what was going on! They did agree that it was strange thought. LOL... So I'll call back tomorrow about that one.

I didn't test yet today because I got a phone call at 6:30am from my MIL who was frantically telling me about a job opportunity so I had to bust my butt getting my resume to look good for the particular job and stuff... I might test later on... at this point FMU wouldn't really even be an issue, would it? LOL

I tested after both of my short AF's and got BFN's - I had to before I started my clomid. Good Luck!

Agh! Go figure - Dr.s are always out when you need to find something out from them. I'll be keeping an eye out for what you hear or if you test.
