I had a question about OPK.I had HCG shot yesterday. and i asked the doc if it interferes with the OPKs.she said it does NOT. HCG only interferes with HPTs,which i knew.
i got a positive OPK yest and again today.is it bcoz of shots? or has anyone got + OPK twice in a row.
I have never got a + OPK before so not sure if getting two + in a row is normal or not.I searched it online and it says HCG might intefere with OPK results. But since my doc said it does not i am confused.

The trigger shot may cause a positive OPK, since HCG and LH are so closely linked. Are both of your positive OPKs test lines as dark or darker than the control line?

this time i am using the clear blue digital ,one with smiley face, since i did not want to deal with lines this time. but in diigital version also when you finish the test and eject the test stick i could see 2 lines with same colour when i got a positive and 2 days back 1 line was very lighter than the other( that time it was negative)

yeah with digitals you aren't supposed to look at the test stick at all, they mean nothing.

If it helps, I used the digital ones last month and got a + and still didn't seem to ovulate due to my temps, so I tested 2 days later and got another positive. I guess maybe they are prone to multiple positives, and just know that most likely you are O'ing 36 hrs after the trigger. GOOD LUCK!
