saw a movie and which one was it? did you like it and do you recommend it?
I'll start...
I saw "Taken" on valentines day. it was very predictable, but it wasn't horrible. i would recommend it as a home rental...

You know, I am terrible. I really do not watch movies all that often. The reason is that I always fall asleep in movies...no matter what! It drives me crazy, but there is no way I can help it. I have tried everything. I think the last one that I saw was The Dark Knight.

Same here, Ash- we NEVER watch movies, and when we do, it's an oldie that was DVR'd.
We watched Anchor Man (finally) on Valentine's Day... before that, we watched Man on Fire, which was excellent!! I borrowed that DVD from my coworker!

I'm not a movie person either... I also fall asleep! The last movie I saw in the theater was (don't laugh) "The Santa Clause 3"... I love holiday movies. I did watch "Varsity Blues" last night before bed though.

OMG, in the theater? I have no idea! Isn't that ridiculous. I do remember that I was with a girlfriend, and I think it might have been like two years ago.
Cris, glad I am not the only movie sleeper. Here is how bad I am....
DH and I went to NYC two years ago for my birthday. He got Broadway tickets for Phantom of the Opera...I fell asleep!! How do you do that?? LOL

Ash- Wow that's pretty bad! Sleeping through Phantom? My worst one is going to the movies 2 times to see the Truman Show and falling asleep at the same part each time. (Though DH says its more the movie itself than my Movie narcolepsy)
Jackie... Road Trip? 2000?? That's crazy! LOL... you're just saving your money cause movies are so darn expensive!
Juli- I dozed off during Wall-E too... I think it was the lack of talking!

I used to ALWAYS fall asleep during movies. While I was in college, I would come home (or DH would come visit me) ever other week (or so). We'd always end up watching a movie and I'd always end up falling asleep. It's safe to say that he's seen MANY more movies than me in their entirety! LOL

We just saw "Frost Nixon" and it was surprisingly good! I will admit that I knew nothing about what it was about, but it was very captivating.

We saw Taken a week or so ago. It was pretty good. Like Lynda said, a rental anyway.
DH wants to see Gran Torino. I want to see some of the Oscar nominees.

I saw "he's just not that into you" and I thought it sucked. Movies with infideility in them really get me fired up.
The movie before that was "taken" and I absolutely LOVED it.

In the theater? Alone? I think it was over Thanksgiving and we saw Four Christmases. It was cute. I would probably rent it again. I don't think I have been to the theater since then. We get Netflix so we are always watching something at home.
