I've been using my cbfm for the first time this cycle. It asked me to test on cd 6 all the way to today, which is cd 21. It's been giving me a high reading since cd 6. I know that isn't right because I don't normally o until cd 20-23. dh and I have been bd'ing since cd 19, just to cover our bases.
Do you think there's something wrong with my monitor? I know that the first month is a guessing game since the monitor is trying to 'get to know you', I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten high readings for two weeks straight.
I think Ash would be a good one to ask about the CBEFM... I've never used one, but if I remember hearing correctly, it takes a cycle to get used to your body (or something like that) Sorry I can't be of more help Annie!
I don't use one, but I've read other ladies say that it can take a cycle or 2 to "learn" your cycle.

Yep, it took one cycle for mine to figure out my body and hormone levels. I think you will have better readings next month. Now, I only test from CD 10 until I get one high after my peaks. Actually my first cycle to use it, I got peaks a week before I O'd. Thank goodness for obvious body signs that let me know when I was really Oing. That is the only time that has ever happened, and since then it has been dead on accurate.
That's perfectly normal. It did that to me my first month too. After the first month, it started narrowing down my true "high" periods much better. Good luck!!
